Pearlstick™ 45-90/06

Pearlstick™ 45-90/06 distributed by Bjørn Thorsen is a linear, elastic, aromatic thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) with a small amount of anti-adherent in the formulation. It shows low crystallization rate and low thermoplasticity level and good hydrolysis resistance.

• It is used in the production of adhesives for different kinds of materials such as leather, textiles, rubber and a variety of plastics (plasticized PVC, PU elastomers).
• The addition of a polyfunctional isocyanate to improves the heat-resistance and the strength of the joints.
• Its addition to other different types of Pearlstick™ increases their open-times.
• It enables the production of adhesives with a very long open-time, which can be used as one- or two-component adhesives.
• Pearlstick™ 45-90/06 is suitable for solvent-based adhesives.
