Irganox® PS 800 FL

Irganox® PS 800 FL by BASF is didodecyl 3,3'-thiodipropionate. It is a heat stabilizer in combination with a phenolic antioxidant. Used for polyethylene- & XLPE power cables, HDPE pipe and polyolefin resin. Also used for under-hood automotive applications, styrene homo- and copolymers. The recommended dosage level is 0.05-0.1% and in peroxide cross linked power cables is 0.02-0.03% in combination with 0.02 % – 0.03 % Irganox 1035. It is approved for food contact applications. Irganox® PS 800 FL is listed in AICS, EINECS, PICCS, DSL, MITI, TSCA and ECL.

Irganox® 1035 FF

Irganox® 1035 FF by BASF is sulfur containing primary (phenolic) antioxidant and heat stabilizer. Provides efficient processing stabilization and long-term thermal stability with excellent system compatibility and low color. Offers excellent heat stability and is very unlikely to exude. Prevents scorching of PUR flexible foams in combination with an aminic antioxidant. It is a substitute for BHT. It is compatible with LDPE, XLPE, PP, HIPS, ABS, PVA and polyol/PUR. Used in hot melt adhesives. Its recommended addition level in XLPE is 0.2-0.3% and in polyol is 0.3-0.4%. It is approved in many countries for use in food contact applications. Irganox® 1035 FF is listed in AICS, DSL, IECSC, EINECS, ENCS, ECL, TSA, PICCS, BUWAL and TSCA.

Irganox® B 220 FF

Irganox® B 220 FF by BASF is a synergistic processing and long-term thermal stabilizer. It is a blend of 75% Irgafox® 168 and 25% Irganox® 1010. Acts as Maintains original melt flow and offers low color formation. Provides long-term-thermal stability. Irgafox® 168, an organic phosphite of low volatility and particularly resistant to hydrolysis, protects the polymers which are prone to oxidation. Irganox® 1010, a hindered phenolic antioxidant, contributes synergistically to polymer stabilization during processing and provides long-term thermal stability by preventing thermo-oxidative degradation. It is compatible with polyolefin and olefin-copolymers such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers, engineering plastics, styrene homo- and copolymers, polyurethanes and elastomers. Its recommended dosage rate is 0.1- 0.25%. Irganox® B 220 FF is suitable for food contact applications. It is registered in Australia, Canada, China, EU, Japan, Korea, Philippines and USA.

Irganox® 1098 ED

Irganox® 1098 ED by BASF is a N,N’-hexane-1,6-diylbis(3-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenylpropionamide)). Acts as an antioxidant. Provides excellent processing and long–term thermal stability as well as excellent initial resin color. Irganox® 1098 ED is superior to copper- based with respect to color and resistance to extraction and has low volatility. It is compatible with polymers such as polyacetals, polyester, polyurethanes, polyamide, saturated and unsaturated rubbers. It is an efficient, non-discoloring stabilizer for organic substrates such as adhesives. Irganox® 1098 ED is especially suited for the stabilization of polyamide molded parts and films. Its recommended dosage rate in polyamide is 0.05-0.20% and in polyacetals, polyesters, polyurethanes, saturated and unsaturated rubbers is 0.05-0.5%.

Irganox® 3114 FF

Irganox® 3114 FF by BASF is a sterically hindered phenolic antioxidant. Acts as a highly effective, non-discoloring stabilizer. It protects these substrates against thermo-oxidative degradation and contributes to their light stability. It is odorless and stable to light. It has good compatibility with most substrates, high resistance to extraction, and low volatility. It is compatible with polyolefins, namely polyethylene, polypropylene, poly-butene, styrene homo- and copolymers, linear polyesters, PVC, polyamides and polyurethanes, elastomers such as SBS, EPR, EPDM and other synthetic rubbers. Irganox® 3114 FF can be used in combination with other additives such as costabilizers (e.g. thioethers, phosphites, phosphonites), light stabilizers and other functional stabilizers. It is listed in AICS, DSL, IECSC, EINECS, ENCS, ECL, TSA, PICCS, BUWAL and TSCA. It is approved in many countries for use in food contact applications.

Irganox® B 612

Irganox® B 612 by BASF is a blend of 66.7% Irgafox® 168 and 33.3% Irganox® 565. Acts as a processing and long-term thermal stabilizer. Maintains original melt flow and offers low color formation. Provides long-term-thermal stability. Irgafox® 168, an organic phosphite of low volatility and particularly resistant to hydrolysis, protects the polymers which are prone to oxidation. Irganox® 565, a hindered phenolic antioxidant, contributes synergistically to polymer stabilization during processing and provides long-term thermal stability by preventing thermo-oxidative degradation. Irganox® B 612 is compatible with styrene homo- and copolymers, polyolefin homo- and copolymer, elastomers such as BR, IR, NBR, SBS, SIS, SEBS, SBR, EPDM, and NR. Its recommended dosage is 0.3-1.0%. Irganox® 1520 LR by BASF is an antioxidant for processing and long-term thermal stabilization. It contains blend of 98% 4,6-bis (octylthiomethyl)-o-cresol and 2% of epoxidized soya bean oil. It is non-staining, non-discoloring, low in volatility and stable to light and heat. It effectively protects the substrate against thermo-oxidative degradation during processing and long term heat aging. It is compatible with thermoplastic elastomers including BR, SBR, NBR, IR, SBS, SIS and natural rubber. It is chemically composed of 2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-(4,6-bis(octylthio)-1,3,5-triazin-2-ylamino) phenol.
