Petro-Rez® PTL by Akrochem is a low molecular weight, stable, plasticizer/tackifier which is polymerized from mixed petroleum streams. It is used to modify other resins & polymers in rubber compounding and various adhesive systems. Petro-Rez® PTL exhibits very good resistance to acids, alkalis, water and salts. Petro-Rez® PTA-C by Akrochem is a low melt point, aromatic hydrocarbon resin, used as a tackifier/softener for nitrile-, chloroprene-, chlorosulfonated polyethylene-, SBR, butyl- and many other rubbers. It finds applications where good electrical properties are required. It improves processing, extrusion rates, wetting interaction of filler and rubber, mold flow and reduces nerve. Recommended usage level is 5-25 phr. Petro-Rez® PTA-T by Akrochem is a low melt point, aromatic hydrocarbon resin used as a tackifier/softener for nitrile-, chloroprene-, chlorosulfonated polyethylene-, SBR, butyl- and many other rubbers. It improves the wetting interaction of filler and rubber, processing, extrusion rates, mold flow and reduces nerve. Recommended dosage level is 5-25 phr. Mixed aromatic-cycloaliphatic, medium melt point hydrocarbon resin. Used as a tackifier in construction adhesives. Offers very good compatibility with drying oils. Possesses the high performance of aliphatics and the stability of aromatics. Aromatic-aliphatic thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin. Used as a tackifier in hot melt, solvent and emulsion adhesives. Modifies viscosity and wetouts fillers. Increases tensile and elongation. Reduces flex cracking and cut growth. Can be used in black loaded compounds as an extender.
