Petro-Rez® PTA-T by Akrochem is a low melt point, aromatic hydrocarbon resin used as a tackifier/softener for nitrile-, chloroprene-, chlorosulfonated polyethylene-, SBR, butyl- and many other rubbers. It improves the wetting interaction of filler and rubber, processing, extrusion rates, mold flow and reduces nerve. Recommended dosage level is 5-25 phr.
