REGALITE™ S5100 Hydrocarbon Resin by Synthomer is a unique partially hydrogenated water-white inert thermoplastic resin derived from petrochemical feedstock. Exhibits very good resistance to thermal and oxidative degradation.
  • It is used as tackifier in hot melt adhesives based on SIS and SBS block copolymers, where it provides superior room temperature cohesion combined with very low adhesive viscosity.
  • REGALITE™ S5100 Hydrocarbon Resin shows compatibility with natural and synthetic rubbers, butyl rubber, SBR, SBS-, SEBS- and SIS block copolymers, EVA and EBA copolymers.
  • Recommended for caulks & sealants, labels, tapes and other adhesive applications.
