PICCOTAC™ 8090-E Hydrocarbon Resin by Synthomer is an aromatic modified aliphatic hydrocarbon resin. Exhibits very good thermal stability, light color, low odor, low softening point and good low temperature properties.
- It reduces hot-melt coating temperatures of styrenic copolymers.
- It can be used as tackifying resin for high quality hot-melt pressure sensitive adhesives.
- PICCOTAC™ 8090-E Hydrocarbon Resin is stabilized by addition of antioxidant.
- It shows compatibility with natural & synthetic rubbers, SBR, EVA copolymers, SBS-, SIS- and SEBS block copolymers, APAO, low molecular weight polyethylene, paraffin and microcrystalline waxes.
- Recommended for caulks and sealants, labels, roofing, specialty tapes and other adhesive applications.
