PICCOTAC™ 1115 Hydrocarbon Resin by Synthomer is a relatively high molecular weight, aliphatic C5 hydrocarbon resin derived from dienes and other reactive olefin monomers.
  • Possesses light color, high softening point, increased temperature resistance and excellent balance of adhesive & cohesive properties.
  • Offers broad compatibility and solubility.
  • It is stabilized by addition of antioxidant and most aliphatic with highest molecular weight of the synthomer tackifiers.
  • PICCOTAC™ 1115 Hydrocarbon Resin is primarily used in hot-melt adhesives, pressure sensitive adhesives and wax modification.
  • It shows compatibility with natural & synthetic rubbers, butyl types of rubber, low vinyl-acetate concentration, EVA copolymers, SIS block copolymers, APAO, polyethylene polymers & copolymers, polypropylene polymers & copolymers, paraffin and microcrystalline waxes.
  • Recommended for caulks & sealants, labels, packaging, roofing, specialty tapes, tapes, wires & cables and other adhesive applications.
