PICCOTAC™ 1100-E Hydrocarbon Resin by Synthomer is a low molecular weight, aliphatic C5 hydrocarbon resin derived mainly from dienes and other reactive monomers. Acts as a tackifier for pressure sensitive adhesives and hot-melt adhesives.
  • Exhibits excellent color stability, cohesive properties, excellent peel and tack properties.
  • Offers heat resistance and wide compatibility & solubility.
  • Shows good adhesion to natural rubber based adhesives and styrene-isoprene-styrene (SIS) block copolymers.
  • It shows compatibility with natural and synthetic rubbers, low-vinyl acetate EVA copolymers, EnBA copolymers, APAO, SIS-, SIBS-, SEBS- and SEPS block copolymers.
  • It is also compatible with polyethylene polymers, polypropylene polymers, paraffin, microcrystalline waxes, PIB, OBC, mPE, mPP, and TPE.
  • PICCOTAC™ 1100-E Hydrocarbon Resin is stabilized by addition of antioxidant.
  • Recommended for caulks and sealants, labels, packaging, specialty tapes and other adhesive applications.
