PICCOTAC™ 1020-E Hydrocarbon Resin by Synthomer is a low molecular weight hydrocarbon resin based on aliphatic monomers of petroleum origin.
- Exhibits good heat and light stability.
- Possesses an excellent balance of tack and adhesive properties to systems blended with elastomers.
- Shows excellent adhesion to styrene-isoprene-styrene (SIS) block copolymers.
- It is used to increase tack and reduce viscosity.
- PICCOTAC™ 1020-E Hydrocarbon Resin is compatible with natural and synthetic rubbers, EVA copolymers, APAO, SIS & SBS block copolymers, polyethylene polymers, polypropylene polymers, paraffin & microcrystalline waxes, PIB, OBC, and metallocene-catalyzed polyolefins.
- It is primarily designed for pressure sensitive adhesives and hot melt adhesives.
- Recommended for caulks and sealants, labels, packaging, Specialty tapes, tapes and other adhesive applications.
