KRISTALEX™ F100 Hydrocarbon Resin by Synthomer is a water-clear, color-stable, low molecular weight thermoplastic hydrocarbon polymer. Exhibits excellent thermal stability and intermediate softening point.
  • It shows good compatibility with EVA (upto 30% vinyl acetate) and is suitable for hot-melt & low-color adhesives with good low temperature properties.
  • In styrenic block copolymer-based adhesives KRISTALEX™ F100 Hydrocarbon Resin preferentially associates with the styrenic endblocks, producing higher room-temperature cohesion without affecting tack and adhesion properties.
  • It is compatible with SBR and styrene-based block copolymers, neoprene, nitrile, polybutadiene, acrylic polymers, chlorinated rubber and EVA resins.
  • KRISTALEX™ F100 Hydrocarbon Resin is also compatible with styrenated alkyds, vinylated alkyds, drying oil alkyds and rosin ester resins.
  • Recommended for caulk and sealant, assembly, labels, roofing, specialty tapes, packaging tapes, packaging and other adhesive applications.
