FORALYN™ E Partially Hydrogenated Rosin by Synthomer is a light colored, thermoplastic, acidic resin made by partially hydrogenating gum rosin. It is highly resistant to oxidation and discolouration and to changes in solubility characteristics when it is exposed to air and sunlight.
  • Exhibits color stability, high acidic number with wide solubility and compatibility range.
  • FORALYN™ E Partially Hydrogenated Rosin acts as a plasticizer, tackifier or processing aid for reclaimed, natural and synthetic rubbers.
  • Compatible with natural resins, rubber and waxes, drying and non-drying alkyds, blown castor oil, ethylcellulose, various synthetic elastomeric and thermoplastic polymers and copolymers.
  • Recommended for caulks and sealants, packaging specialties, labels, tapes, wire and cables, assembly, roofing and other adhesive applications.
