Addibond™ 829 by Syensqo is a bonding agent. It acts as a conversion and passivation booster. It contains two types of functional monomers - one that binds to a metallic surface and another that reacts with the top organic layer, such as adhesive.
- It improves adhesive bonding and plastic to metal (aluminium and polyetheretherketone - PEEK).
- It is used for chrome-free conversion treatment and is particularly stable in very acidic environment.
- Addibond™ 829 is suitable for lamination applications.
