POLYBOND™ 3009 by SI Group is a chemically modified polyethylene (PE). Applications include chemical coupling agent for glass & cellulose fiber, and mineral filler which provides enhanced physical & thermal properties.
- It is a compatibilizer for polymer alloys of polyethylene and polar polymers, such as polyamides, to give improved processability & mechanical properties.
- Offers good adhesion to a wide variety of substrates including aluminum and stainless steel.
- POLYBOND™ 3009 is suitable for adhesives, consumer products, fibers and textiles.
