Adhesive ingredients for Industrial

FutureChem® EHMA by FutureFuel Chemical Company is a methacrylate monomer with an ester like odor. It is used to impart hydrophobicity, flexibility, scratch resistance, chemical resistance, adhesion and weatherability.

• FutureChem® EHMA is used in adhesives, sealants, textile and leather finishes.

Cardolite® NX-2026 is a high purity cardanol, bio-based diluent, resin modifier, and accelerator designed for use in adhesives and sealants. It is based on natural, renewable, non-food raw material feedstock. Exhibits very low viscosity, low volatility, excellent water resistance and corrosion protection originating from its chemical structure, long hydrophobic aliphatic chain and aromatic ring. Cardolite® NX-2026 is suitable to be used as a diluent and an accelerator for epoxy adhesives and an isocyanate blocking agent. In adhesive formulation, Cardolite® NX-2026 can improve workability by reducing viscosity and help to achieve fast cure in solvent free formulations. It is recommended for 2K Epoxy adhesives, pressure sensitive adhesive, hot melt adhesives for fabric lamination, 1K/2K epoxy-PU hybrid adhesive, wood/ paper adhesives and industrial adhesive applications. The recommended use level of the product is <20% of total resin weight.

Cardolite® NC-514 is a diglycidyl ether epoxy resin. Cardolite® NC-514 provides excellent flexibility, outstanding water resistance, and increased bond strength on difficult substrates like wet or oily surface. Cardolite® NC-514 is considered bio-based alternative for Bis-A based epoxy resin. It is recommended for 1K/2K epoxy adhesives and sealants as a toughener. It is used in industrial, transportations, and electrical/electronic adhesives to provide toughness, flexibility and water resistance.

Cardolite® Ultra LITE 513 by Cardolite is a low viscosity, mono-functional epoxy reactive diluent. The long hydrophobic aliphatic side chain of cardanol gives this product a very low viscosity and provides excellent water resistance, flexibility, and thermal shock resistance. High viscosity solvent or solvent-free formulations can achieve enhanced workability and higher solids without sacrificing other performance properties using this product. Recommended use level for Cardolite® Ultra LITE 513 is 2-20% of total resin weight. It is an excellent alternative to glycidyl ether diluents because of favorable health hazard labeling, hydrophobicity, and mechanical properties. Used in 1K/2K epoxy adhesives including transportations, industrials and electronics sectors.

MARNEX™ AL148 by Macroocean is a branched, high molecular weight saturated polyester resin. It provides excellent adhesive strength to steel, metal, plastic and PET or PVC films. It offers better toughness when used with high Tg type of resins.

• It offers high acid value, heat resistance, good solubility and dispersibility for pigment.
• It can be used as an adhesion promoter as it provides adhesive between metal and film or film and film applications.
• MARNEX™ AL148 is recommended for industrial adhesive applications and FFC applications.
• It has a shelf life of 24 months.

MARNEX™ AH550 by Macroocean is high molecular weight, saturated linear polyester resin. It shows excellent adhesive strength to steels, aluminum foil, PET and PVC films.

• When using melamine or blocked isocyanate curing agents to cross-link the polymer, good adhesion and film strength can be achieved.
• It offers good processability and heat resistance.
• MARNEX™ AH550 is recommended for pretreatment for plastic films, flexible packaging and industrial adhesive applications.
• It has a shelf life of 24 months.
• Complies with FDA 175.300.

Vinavil® P18 D by Vinavil is plasticized polyvinyl acetate aqueous dispersion with 45% solids and low viscosity. Provides excellent mechanical stability. It is particularly suitable for the manufacture of adhesives for textiles, leather, paper such as corrugated board and the production of boxes and cases. Vinavil® P18 D has a shelf life of 6 months.

Pearlbond™ 920L distributed by Bjørn Thorsen is an plasticizer-free thermoplastic polyurethane. It is a translucent resin with excellent color stability upon UV exposure. It is suitable for processing by slot dye extrusion, blown extrusion, melt blown, roll-coating and gravure.

• Provides enhanced UV resistance and durability, ensuring consistent performance and protection against environmental elements.
• It exhibits excellent adhesion to various fabrics and offers high wash resistance.
• It delivers high hydrolytic resistance, good recovery, and breathability.
• Pearlbond™ 920L is recommended for hot melt adhesive applications in seam tapes, webs, and furniture edge banding, ensuring reliable bonding performance.
• It is used in textiles, interlinings, heat-transfer labels, footwear and non-food conveyor belts.

Vinavil® SA by Vinavil is polyvinyl acetate aqueous dispersion containing anionic surfactants. Provides excellent mechanical stability and compatibility with pigment and fillers. It is particularly suitable for the manufacture of heat sealing adhesives for textiles, paper and board works. Vinavil® SA has a shelf life of 6 months.
