WestRez® 5090 by Ingevity is glycerol ester resin used as a tackifier. It is present in a consistent bead, low-dust pastille form. It provides excellent wet out, improved flow ability, and better overall tack and adhesion as compared to other hydrocarbon resins.
- It has lower softening point than pentaerythritol modified esters and has antioxidants to improve color and oxidative stability.
- It offers increased compatibility with adhesive polymers and better adhesive performance.
- WestRez® 5090 has applications in freezer grade packaging, sealing, labels and tapes.
