HYPRO® 1300X13 CTBN by Huntsman is 100% solids, carboxyl terminated butadiene- acrylonitrile copolymer. It provides sound-dampening properties. It is used to improve the toughness, flexibility and impact resistance of thermoset resin system including epoxies, vinyl esters, unsaturated polyesters, acrylics as well as urethane.
  • It increases low temperature mechanical properties, improves durability (fatigue resistance) and improves adhesion to substrates that are difficult to bond.
  • Used predominantly as a reactant with a base thermoset resin to gain product performance improvement.
  • HYPRO® 1300X13 CTBN is designed for film and paste adhesives that is further used in structural as well as semi-structural applications.
