Higree™ HA1090 by Higree Chemical is hydrocarbon resin. Acts as a tackifier. It is a low molecular weight, thermoplastic, slightly yellow C5 modified C9 resin which combines the advantage of C5 and C9. Higree™ HA1090 enhances wetness in pressure sensitive adhesives (PSA) which is composed by modified elastomers, plasticizer, filler and solvent.
- It is compatible with styrene block copolymer (SBS), wax, EVA and SIBS.
- Offers excellent heat as well as water resistance, low VOC, low odor and good chemical stability, transparency, cohesive power, holding power.
- It can be used as a substitute of expensive glycerol rosin ester and also used in various applications like tapes, labels, hot melt adhesives, solvent based adhesive as well as shoe sole adhesive.
