Bluesil™ ESA 7244 A & B

Bluesil™ ESA 7244 A & B by Elkem Silicones is a liquid two-component, polyaddition heat curing silicone elastomer. It is a solvent-free, self-leveling grade designed for adhesive and sealant applications. After polymerization, it forms a flexible adhesive film or gasket which is particularly resistant to thermal, climatic and environmental attack. It fully retains physical, chemical and electrical properties over a range of temperatures between -45°C and 200°C. Offers good dielectric properties, instant & primerless adhesion on all surfaces as well as outstanding resistance to aging agents, splashing & vapor from cooling fluids, engine and gearbox oils. It also allows quick curing and provides long pot life at room temperature. Bluesil™ ESA 7244 A & B is intended for bonding to metal and plastic surfaces in the automotive and household electrical goods industries and silk screening of gaskets, especially cylinder head gaskets. It is used in sealing & protection of electronic casings by jointing and potting techniques and in insulation of electrical motors used for cooling & general control purposes. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
