It is a silane terminated polyurethane prepolymer. Desmoseal® S XP 2458 is used as a base resin in solvent-free, moisture-curing one-pack systems. These systems cure without bubbles or blisters if properly processed. Addition of a suitable filler to the product is required to achieve enhanced adhesive properties. The maximum storage temperature for this product is 50°C (122°F). Used in the formulation of moisture-curing sealant and in various applications like wood, plastic, metal, transportation, furniture, construction and housing.
