Celvolit® 1491 by Celanese is vinyl acetate ethylene copolymer. This copolymer provides good shear resistance, fast setting speed and extremely low VOC. Celvolit® 1491 exhibits good bonding on different substrates, high set speed and excellent heat resistance. Recommended for use in woodworking industry in general wood glue, D4 and EPI. For the packaging & converting industry, it is recommended for PVC lamination, kraft and coated PVC. In tobacco industry, it is used for tipping, side seaming, packaging glue and foil/paper lamination.
