Vinavil® EVA 2603 L by Vinavil is an aqueous dispersion of a vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer with good water resistance. Provides quick setting time and excellent mechanical stability. Offers excellent setting speed and good adhesion on different substrates (lacquered or plastic-coated polyolefin films and other difficult to bond materials) which makes it the ideal base for adhesives used on automatic high speed packaging machines. Shows moderate increase in viscosity on the addition of coalescing agents and/or solvents and/or plasticizers. It is particularly suitable for paper and board adhesives assemblies, showing excellent performances when employed in mosaic net glue. It is especially compatible with thickeners (cellulosic and acrylic nature), plasticizers (benzoic acid esters, polymer based, triacetin, acetyltributylcitrate), tackifiers resins (natural and modified colophony, coumarone-indene, terpenes, hydrocarbons) and natural latex rubber. Vinavil® EVA 2603 L complies by composition with BGVV XIV and FDA CFR 175.105. It has a shelf life of 6 months.
