Pearlstick™ 45-60/18

Pearlstick™ 45-60/18 by Bjørn Thorsen is an elastic, aromatic, linear thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). It is used in the production of adhesives for bonding plasticized PVC to plasticized PVC and other materials such as leather, textiles, rubber and in the shoe industry.

• It has an extremely high crystallization rate and a low thermoplasticity level.
• It exhibits good hydrolysis resistance.
• It shows high green strength values, easier heat activation (wide range of activation temperatures) and long and high hot-tack (tack retention).
• Pearlstick™ 45-60/18 is a suitable for one-component and solvent-based adhesives.
