acResin® A 204 UV by BASF is a versatile, UV cross-linkable, biocides-, MOSH-, MOAH- & solvent-free, high-performance acrylic hot-melt polymer used in the production of self-adhesive articles.
- Exhibits very good shear-, good- tack & peel properties, excellent- cohesion, converting properties and resistance to chemicals, water, high heat, aging & weathering.
- It is instantaneous, renewable, reliable, cost-efficient and imparts excellent optical clarity for transparent films.
- It can be modified with other solid acrylic resins or rosin- & resin-based tackifiers and is compatible with toluene, acetone, ethyl acetate, methyl ethyl ketone, tetrahydrofuran and isobutanol.
- Suitable for formulated & pressure-sensitive adhesives and overprint varnishes (OPV) due to low- VOC, fogging and odor.
- It is used in durable- & permanent paper labels, specialty tapes, automotive and construction applications.
