Silicone-free for Adhesives and Sealants

TEGO® Antifoam 2290 by Evonik is a self-emulsifying, APEO-free organic antifoam concentrate. It is free of silicone and does not contain any silica. It is used in formulation and application of polymer dispersions/latices such as adhesives based on acrylates or PVAc. High shear forces on the diluted product should be avoided.

• It process aid for water-based polymerization of dispersions, thermoplastics and elastomers (e.g. de-monomerisation of SBR or NBR emulsions, handling of acrylates).
• Recommended dosage may vary from 0.005-0.2%.
• TEGO® Antifoam 2290 has a shelf life of 12 months.

FOAM BLAST® 1304 by DyStar is a mixture of aluminum salt, mineral seal oil and hydrotreated petroleum distillates. It acts as a defoamer. Possesses good compatibility. It exhibits excellent in-can persistence. FOAM BLAST® 1304 offers enhanced foam control in a wide range of adhesive formulations. Mostly used in adhesives. Complies with OSHA, EINECS, TSCA and DSL regulations.

FOAM BLAST® 389 by DyStar Is mixture. It ats as a non-silicone defoamer. Possesses good tolerance for electrolytes, high dispersibility and compatibility. It forms a stable emulsion upon dilution. Offers enhanced foam control in a wide range of adhesive formulations. FOAM BLAST® 389 is mostly used in water-based latex adhesives and caulks. It complies with OSHA, TSCA and DSL regulations. All components are in compliance with FDA regulation 21 CFR: 175.105, 176.210 and 178.3120.

FOAM BLAST® 397 by DyStar Is a mixture. It acts as a non-silicone defoamer. Offers excellent knockdown and long term foam control. FOAM BLAST® 397 is mostly used in adhesives. It complies with OSHA, WHMIS, TSCA and NDSL regulations. All components are in compliance with FDA regulation CFR 21 175.105, 176.170, 176.180, 176.200, 176.210 and 178.3120.

FOAM BLAST® E39 by DyStar Is a mixture of silica and hydrotreated heavy naphthenic (petroleum) distillates. It acts as a highly effective defoamer in powdered form. It is silicone-free, fast spread and can be added as received or from an aqueous dispersion. FOAM BLAST® E39 is mostly used in construction adhesives, caulks and glues. It complies with OSHA, EINECS, TSCA and DSL regulations.

FOAM BLAST® 327 by DyStar is a mon-silicone, non-mineral oil defoamers.

Acepol 106 by DyStar acts as a non-silicone defoamer and antifoam agent. It is mostly used in the production of animal glue and adhesive. Acepol 106 complies with OSHA, TSCA, DSL and EINECS regulations.

CLiQSMART® 1031 by CLiQ SwissTech is a 100% polyglycol-based defoamer for aqueous systems. The silicone and mineral oil-free defoamer shows very high efficiency. CLiQSMART® 1031 is used in adhesives. The recommended use level is 0.1-0.5%.

CLiQSMART® 1032 by CLiQ SwissTech is a polyglycol emulsion-based defoamer for aqueous systems. The silicone and mineral oil-free defoamer shows high efficiency and excellent system compatibility. CLiQSMART® 1032 by CLiQ SwissTech is suitable for use in adhesives. The suggested use level is 0.1-0.5%.

DENSIPOL® WO 2901 by Chemipol is an emulsion based on fatty acid derivatives and hydrophobic compounds. Acts as a silicone-free mineral oil defoamer. Exhibits air release effect and low volatile organic content. DENSIPOL® WO 2901 is designed for adhesive applications.
