It reduces smoke and toxic gas, anti-drop etc. When Al(OH)<sub>3</sub> is composited with other types of fire retardants, such as zinc borate, phosphorus, PBDEs, synergism is very good that can improve the performance considerably. It is surface treated by non-polar polymer of stearic acid.
