Distearyl pentaerythritol diphosphite. Acts as an antioxidant. Is highly effective color and molecular weight stabilizer for polyolefins, polyesters, elastomers, styrenics and engineering thermoplastics. Also contributes to the thermal and UV stability of these polymers. Provides very good color stability during processing, fabrication and end use. Exhibits polymer protection from degradation during processing. Reduces discoloration of polymers containing pigments such as TiO2 and polymers that are stabilized with a sulfur-containing, nickel-organic complex and are processed at high temperatures. Shows synergism when used with light stabilizers such as benzophenones and benzotriazoles. Offers high performance at low loading levels for most cost effective formulations. Phosphite. Improves the color and processing stability during recovery, drying, compounding, processing and end use. Synergism is realized when this product is combined with other stabilizers such as hindered phenols. May be added alone or in combination of with the monomers and/or during compounding. Is a versatile phosphite stabilizer which is useful in a large number of polymers such as HDPE, LLDPE, SBR, ABS, PVC and others. Triphenyl phosphite. Acts as an antioxidant. Is a kind of chelating agent. Can increase the antioxidation of primary stabilizer and light as well as heat stability. Exhibits great synergism with hindered phenol antioxidants and the UV absorbers. Is widely used in PVC products to keep products' transparency and restrain the change of color. Tris(2,4-ditert-butylphenyl) phosphite. The application range of Yiphos™ 2068 synergistically combined with other Ciba anti-oxidants-comprises polyolefins and olefin-copolymers such as polyethylene (e.g. HDPE, LLDPE), polypropylene, polybutene and ethylene-vinylacetate copolymers as well as polycarbonates and polyamides. The blends can also be used in polyesters, styrene homo-and copolymers, natural as well as synthetic tackifier resins, elastomers such as BR, SEBS, SBS and other organic substrates.
