Vanax® 829 by Vanderbilt Chemicals is a cross-linking agent for polyacrylate elastomers. Provides better initial elongation than trifunctional triazines without sacrificing resistance to compression set. For NR, SR, especially type W neoprenes. Somewhat less active than METHYL TUADS at processing and curing temperatures. May be used alone or with thiazoles. Non-discoloring in light stocks. Accelerator for chlorinated polyethylene (CPE). Vanax® MBM PWD by Vanderbilt Chemicals is m-phenylenedimaleimide. Acts as a crosslinking agent and a coagent in peroxide-cured polymers. Vanax® MBM PWD can be used as an accelerator in Hypalon in conjunction with sulfides and Vanax ABC. Vanax® NS Rodform by Vanderbilt Chemicals is moderately soluble in alcohol, toluene and chloroform. Practically insoluble in water. Delayed-action accelerator for NR and synthetic rubbers. Vanax® NS Rodform is used in tyres, mechanical and extruded goods. Vanax® PY by Vanderbilt Chemicals is soluble in toluene, chloroform ar acetone.
Moderately soluble in hexane or gasoline.
Insoluble in water.
IIR chemical conditioner; improves resilience, processing safety and electrical properties.
Vanax® PY increases cured and uncured modulus. Decreases cold flow and increases “leg strength” in cements. It is 23% poly-p-dinitrosobenzene in wax Vanax® 808 HP by Vanderbilt Chemicals is 3,5-diethyl-1,2-dihydro-1-phenyl-2-propylpyridine. Acts as NR, SBR, CR, IIR, and latex accelerator of intermediate strength.

Also used as a secondary accelerator in CPE and activator for acidic accelerators.

Vanax® 808 HP is excellent for reclaims, hard rubber stocks and CR cement containing litharge.

Vanax® PML by Vanderbilt Chemicals is di-ortho-tolyguanidine salt of dicatechol borate. Used as fast curing accelerator for wire and cable and mechanical goods. Vanax® DOTG by Vanderbilt Chemicals is soluble in acetic acid, chloroform and methanol.
Fairly soluble in acetone and ethanol. Slightly soluble in benzene and ether.
Insoluble in petroleum ether and water. Used as a secondary accelerator with altax, captax and tuads, activates sulfenamides. Vanax® DOTG is used in CR in non-thiourea systems in conjunction with sulfur and unads. Vanax® 552 by Vanderbilt Chemicals is piperidinium pentamethylene dithiocarbamate. Used as an accelerator for low temperature cures.
