Maxfil® MX200 by The R.J. Marshall Company is an engineered alumina trihydrate (ATH) flame retardant filler created for maximum filler loadings, extremely low viscosities, increased flame retardance and decreased formulation costs. It can achieve better glass wet-out, help reduce shrinkage and warpage. It also enhances the ability to achieve UL 94-VO, UL94 5VA and ASTM E84 Class 1 flame & smoke ratings. Maxfil® MX200 shows a 32% decrease in viscosity over a 45-micron ATH.

Maxfil® MX100

Maxfil® MX100 by The R.J. Marshall Company is an engineered alumina trihydrate (ATH) flame retardant filler created for maximum filler loadings, extremely low viscosities (28% decrease in viscosity), increased flame retardance and decreased formulation costs. It can achieve better glass wet-out, help reduce shrinkage and warpage. It also enhances the ability to achieve UL 94-VO, UL94 5VA and ASTM E84 Class 1 flame & smoke ratings. Its particle size distribution is tightly controlled to achieve high filler loadings and at the same time keep the working viscosities of the compound low. Maxfil® MX100 is designed for use in highly filled resin systems requiring a 10-micron ATH.

Maxfil® MX104

Maxfil® MX104 by The R.J. Marshall Company is an engineered alumina trihydrate (ATH) flame retardant filler created for maximum filler loadings, extremely low viscosities, increased flame retardance and decreased formulation costs. It can achieve better glass wet-out, help reduce shrinkage and warpage. It also enhances the ability to achieve UL 94-VO, UL94 5VA and ASTM E84 Class 1 flame & smoke ratings. It shows a 42% decrease in viscosity over a 4-micron ground ATH. It allows for higher filler loadings and lowers resin requirements than can be achieved with typical ATH grades. Maxfil® MX104 will lower production costs and increase flame retardance & smoke suppression. It is applicable in a highly filled resin system.
