Exxelor™ PO 1015

by The Compound Company

Exxelor™ PO 1015 by The Compound Company acts as a coupling agent between reinforcing materials, such as glass fibers and inorganic fillers, and polypropylene. It offers compatibility in polypropylene/polyamide alloys and between polyolefins and more polar polymers that are capable of interacting with maleic anhydride for alloying, recycling or co-extrusion purposes. It improves polypropylene-to-metal adhesion properties. It is a high maleic anhydride functionalized polypropylene copolymer, produced by reactive extrusion. Offers improved mechanical properties, notched izod & charpy impact strength and reduced water absorption to glass filled PP. Exxelor™ PO 1015 has been primarily designed to add polarity to polypropylene matrices and in particular improve polypropylene reactivity with amino-silane treated glass reinforcements.

Exxelor™ VA 1803

by The Compound Company

Exxelor™ VA 1803 by The Compound Company is an impact modifier for polyamides for temperatures as low as -40°C, other engineering thermoplastics and technical polymers (with or without glass fibers, fillers). It offers compatibility between polyolefins and more polar polymers that are capable of interacting with maleic anhydride. Offer the best balance between stiffness and low temperature performance in polyamide blends. It is a high flow, amorphous ethylene copolymer functionalized with maleic anhydride by reactive extrusion. Exxelor™ VA 1803 has fully saturated backbone which results in outstanding thermal and oxidative stability leading to enhanced weatherability.

Exxelor™ PO 1020

by The Compound Company

Exxelor™ PO 1020 by The Compound Company acts as a coupling agent between reinforcing materials, such as glass fibers and inorganic fillers, and polypropylene. It is a high maleic anhydride functionalized polypropylene homopolymer produced by reactive extrusion. It offers compatibility in polypropylene/polyamide alloys and between polyolefins and more polar polymers that are capable of interacting with maleic anhydride for alloying, recycling or co-extrusion purposes. It improves polypropylene-to-metal adhesion properties. Exxelor™ PO 1020 has been primarily designed to add polarity to polypropylene matrices and in particular to improve polypropylene reactivity with amino-silane treated glass reinforcements. Its high content of maleic anhydride allows its use at low treat levels while maintaining optimum application properties.

Exxelor™ PE 1040

by The Compound Company

Exxelor™ PE 1040 by The Compound Company acts as a coupling agent in filled polyethylene compounds, or tie layer in multilayer PE systems to ensure compatibility as well as to improve adhesion of different layers. It is a high maleic anhydride functionalized high density polyethylene, produced by reactive extrusion. Offers improved mechanical properties, notched izod & charpy impact strength and reduced water absorption to natural and mineral filled. Exxelor™ PE 1040 shows compatibility with polyamide.

Exxelor™ VA 1801

by The Compound Company

Exxelor™ VA 1801 by The Compound Company is an impact modifier for polyamides for temperatures as low as -20°C, other engineering thermoplastics and technical polymers (with or without glass fibers, fillers). It offers compatibility between polyolefins and more polar polymers that are capable of interacting with maleic anhydride. Offer the best balance between stiffness and low temperature performance in polyamide blends. It is medium viscosity, semi-crystalline ethylene copolymer functionalized with maleic anhydride by reactive extrusion. Exxelor™ VA 1801 has fully saturated backbone which results in outstanding thermal and oxidative stability leading to enhanced weatherability. Moreover, its elastomeric nature provides high impact resistance at very low temperature when blended with engineering polymers such as polyamide.

Exxelor™ VA 1840

by The Compound Company

Exxelor™ VA 1840 by The Compound Company is an impact modifier for polyamides for temperatures as low as -20°C and other engineering thermoplastics and technical polymers (with or without glass fibers, fillers, etc.). It offers compatibility between polyolefins and more polar polymers that are capable of interacting with maleic anhydride. It is a high flow, semi-crystalline ethylene copolymer functionalized with maleic anhydride by reactive extrusion. Exxelor™ VA 1840 has fully saturated backbone which results in outstanding thermal and oxidative stability leading to enhanced weatherability. Moreover, its elastomeric nature provides high impact resistance at room temperature and at low temperature when blended with engineering polymers such as polyamide.
