Exxelor™ PE 1040 by The Compound Company acts as a coupling agent in filled polyethylene compounds, or tie layer in multilayer PE systems to ensure compatibility as well as to improve adhesion of different layers. It is a high maleic anhydride functionalized high density polyethylene, produced by reactive extrusion. Offers improved mechanical properties, notched izod & charpy impact strength and reduced water absorption to natural and mineral filled. Exxelor™ PE 1040 shows compatibility with polyamide.
