Abalyn™ D-E Methyl Ester of Rosin by Synthomer is a liquid tackifier and plasticizer. It is near-neutral, tacky, resinous in nature with clarity. It offers excellent surface-wetting properties, refractive index, low vapor pressure, high boiling point, and good thermal stability. The minimum odor of products can be attained by special steam sparging treatment. It is compatible with nitrocellulose, ethylcellulose, chlorinated rubber, other film-formers with water-soluble film-formers such as starch, casein, glue, natural and synthetic rubbers, natural and synthetic resins, waxes, asphalt. It is non-compatible with cellulose acetate and polyvinyl acetate. Abalyn™ D-E Methyl Ester of Rosin is used in plastics, packaging-, non-food contact-, specialty tape, tires, wires and cables. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
