SONGXTEND® 2152 by Songwon is a cost-efficient stabilizer and antioxidant solution. Designed for polypropylene-random copolymer (PP-R) water pipe resin and for contact with extractive media. PP-R is light weight with fast and reliable weld jointing and corrosion resistance. Exhibits enhanced processability and excellent product consistency. Possesses excellent physical and technical properties. Imparts high resistance to impact and fluctuating temperatures and has a minimal influence on taste and odor. Used in the production of plastic pipes for hot and cold water used in domestic purpose, plumbing and underfloor heating. SONGXTEND® 2152 has a shelf life of 12 months. It is specially designed to protect new polymeric flame retardants (pFR). It maintains better molecular weight and color of XPS containing pFR. SONGXTEND® 1301 is used in XPS, EPS and XEPS applications. The typical addition level is 0.3 to 0.5% in an XPS formulation containing pFR, 0.2 to 0.4% in a XEPS formulation containing pFR and 0.15 to 0.3% in an EPS formulation containing pFR. SONGXTEND® 1102 by Songwon is an antioxidant solution and polymer stabilizer. It enables more robust and efficient processing as well as outstanding performance with polypropylene materials to maintain high-temperature manufacturing while safeguarding its desired properties too. It avoids degradation and discoloration under severe processing conditions. Stability is assured from reactor to extruder where high heat and shear are often encountered. SONGXTEND® 1102 continues to be effective during conversion and end-use applications. It maintains efficient processing speeds and elevated temperatures.
