SOLKANE® 134a by Solvay is a non-flammable, high-purity blowing agent. It is suitable for one-component foam (OCF), expanded polystyrene foam, rigid polyurethane foam for insulating materials and flexible polyurethane foam (slabstock/integral skin). SOLKANE® 134a is recommended for air conditioning and refrigeration, automotive, construction industry (sealing materials and thermal insulation) and plastic foams. SOLKANE® 365/227 by Solvay is a blowing agent. It is hydrofluorocarbon blend of the third generation without ozone depletion potential.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is a non flammable, blend of 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluorobutane and 1,1,1,2,3,3,3-heptafluoropropane. This product is used for rigid PU foams for insulation purposes.</li>
<li>SOLKANE® 365/227 provides low thermal conductivity, fine cell structure, good insulation properties and good compressive strength.</li><ul> SOLKANE® 365 mfc by Solvay is a blowing agent and solvent. It is used for a wide range of applications within PU foams, solvents or heat transfer fluids. It possesses chemical stability. It is miscible with a wide range of other organic foam blowing agents like other HFCs or even hydrocarbons. Blending of cyclopentane with SOLKANE® 365 strongly improves the lambda value while reducing the density of the resulting PU foam. It minimizes raw material costs while improving insulation performance. SOLKANE® 365 mfc is used in electronics and energy saving thermal insulation building & construction applications. SOLKANE® 141b by Solvay is a blowing agent for rigid polyurethane insulating foams. It offers low gas phase thermal conductivity, slight solvent effect towards polyurethane matrix and slightly weaker foam.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li> SOLKANE® 141b shows inferior dimensional stability.</li> </ul> SOLKANE® 142b by Solvay is a blowing agent. It is used in plastic foams sector. SOLKANE® 142b is suitable for air conditioning and refrigeration foams, automotive, construction industry (sealing materials and thermal insulation) and plastic foams. Solkane® 22/142b by Solvay is used as a blowing agent in plastic foams sector. It is a blend of 1-chloro-1,1-difluorethane and chlorodifluoromethane. Solkane® 22/142b is used in air conditioning and refrigeration foams, automotive, construction industry (sealing materials and thermal insulation) and plastic foams.
