NEODENE® 15181O by Shell is made by the shell higher olefins process (SHOP) by the oligomerization of olefins. NEODENE® 15181O is also known as SHOP C15-C18 internal olefin. NEODENE® 8 by Shell is high purity 1-ocetene made by the shell higher olefin process (SHOP) by the oligomerization of ethylene. NEODENE® 8 is used as a comonomer for the polymerization processes to make linear low-density polyethylene. NEODENE™ 6 XHP by Shell is a linear alpha olefin (high purity 1-hexane) made by shell higher olefins process (SHOP) by the oligomerization of ethylene. NEODENE™ 6 XHP is used as a comonomer in polymerization process of high density and linear low-density polyethylene. The comonomer provides enhanced toughness and stress crack resistance. It is designed for pipe extrusion, injection molding, blow molding, film and rotational molding applications.
