NEODENE™ 6 XHP by Shell is a linear alpha olefin (high purity 1-hexane) made by shell higher olefins process (SHOP) by the oligomerization of ethylene. NEODENE™ 6 XHP is used as a comonomer in polymerization process of high density and linear low-density polyethylene. The comonomer provides enhanced toughness and stress crack resistance. It is designed for pipe extrusion, injection molding, blow molding, film and rotational molding applications.
