Antimicrobial masterbatch that incorporates the Bactiblock® silver-based additive 101 R1.43. It protects parts against staining, odors, and degradation due to fungi, mold, yeasts, mildew, algae and other microbes. It is engineered for for ethylene nylon (PA6, PA6/6) injection molding or extrusion applications. Bactiblock® technology is based on silver-functionalized clay that creates a naturally sourced and highly efficient anti-microbial product. It is not used against food-borne or disease causing bacteria.
