Possesses very good melt flow and color protection during thermal processing of polymers. Can be used with benzotriazoles and HALS for thermal and light stabilization in outdoor use and also in combination with hindered phenol, to achieve synergistic performance. Quent® 68 is used for applications including polyolefins, elastomers, polycarbonate, polyester, and styrenics.

Quent® DPDP

by Qualichem Specialties

Quent® DPDP by Qualichem Specialties is Alkyl aryl phosphite. Acts as a very good antioxidant for acrylics, polyesters & polyphenylene oxide which improves the color retention during the processing of these polymers. Also acts as a chelating agent in liquid PVC stabilizers. Improves heat & light stability properties in PVC plastics. Is a non-polluting stabilizer for styrene butadiene rubbers. Quent® DPDP can be used with metal soap in processing of PVC to improve color & weathering resistance of products.

Quent® OB

by Qualichem Specialties

Quent® OB by Qualichem Specialties is 2,2-(2,5-Thiophenediyl) bis [5-(1,1-dimethylethy)]-benzoxazole. Acts as an optical brightener. Functions by absorbing ultraviolet radiation and remitting blue light; this emitted blue light reduces the yellow color of a polymer. Offers very good resistance to heat, exceptional whitening properties, good light fastness and low volatility. Produces brilliant brightness with dyestuff, which is very efficient in directions for multicolor. Highly effective in polymer substrates such as engineering plastics, PE, PC, PVC, PS, ABS, and PP, and other organic substrates. Quent® OB is used for applications like fiber, molded article, film and sheet.

Quent® 94

by Qualichem Specialties

Polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) of N-H type that protects polymers from degradation due to ultraviolet radiation and long term heat aging. Exhibits extremely low volatility, high thermal stability and very good compatibility with many substrates. High molecular weight and polymeric structure make it particularly effective for use in thin section articles such as fiber, tape, film. Can be used in combination with phenolic & phosphite antioxidants, lower molecular weight HALS, and UVA’s to optimize performance in outdoor use. Used in PP, LDPE, HDPE, XPE, EVA and PP blends with elastomers.

Quent® 770

by Qualichem Specialties

Bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidinyl) sebacate. Acts as a hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) of N-H type that protects polymers from degradation due to ultraviolet radiation and long term heat aging. Can be used in combination with phenolic & phosphite antioxidants, higher molecular weight HALS, and UVA’s to optimize performance in outdoor use. Effectively used in PP, PE, ethylene-propylene copolymer and terpolymer, polyurethane, ABS, PS, HIPS, SAN and PVC. Used alone or in combination with higher molecular weight HALS for the UV stabilization of both thick and thin cross section articles including tapes, films, automotive parts, and lawn furniture.

Quent® 622

by Qualichem Specialties

Polymer of dimethyl succinate and 4-hydroxy-2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-1-piperidine ethanol. Acts as a polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) of N-R type that protects polymers from degradation due to ultraviolet radiation and long term heat aging. Exhibits good compatibility in a wide range of polymers, very low volatility, low migration in use resulting in cleaner surfaces, and very good thermal stability at normal processing temperatures. Demonstrates reduced interaction with co-additives such as pigments. Is a very good stabilizer for systems containing high loadings of carbon black. Can be used in combination with phenolic & phosphite antioxidants, lower molecular weight HALS, and UVA’s to optimize performance in outdoor use. Possesses a low melting range that makes it effective for use in PP, PE, styrenics, unsaturated polyester, acrylic, PVC, plastisols, elastomers.

Quent® P

by Qualichem Specialties

2-(2'-Hydroxy-5'-methylphenyl) benzotriazole. Acts as a strong absorber of ultraviolet radiation in the 290~400i region. Possesses a high degree of photostability - photochemical energy absorbed in the ultraviolet region is dissipated as thermal energy. Offers ultraviolet light protection to a wide range of polymers. Can be used in combination with phenolic & phosphite antioxidants, and HALS to optimize performance in outdoor use.

Quent® 292

by Qualichem Specialties

Bis(1,2,2,6,6-pentamethyl-4-piperidinyl) sebacate. Acts as a liquid hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) of NCH3 type that protects polymers from degradation due to ultraviolet radiation and long term heat aging. Demonstrates reduced interaction with co-additives such as pigments. Can be used in combination with phenolic & phosphite antioxidants and UVA’s to optimize performance in outdoor use. Used in PP, PE, styrenics, unsaturated polyesters, acrylics, vinyl polymers, including plastic soles, and elastomers.

Quent® OB 1

by Qualichem Specialties

2,2-(1,2-Ethenediyldi-4, 1-phenylene) bis-benzoxazole. Acts as an optical brightener. Functions by absorbing ultraviolet radiation and remitting blue light; this emitted blue light reduces the yellow color of a polymer. Offers very good resistance to heat, remarkable whitening effects, good light fastness and very low dosage. Improves the whiteness by providing a more uniform white to the recycled materials. Very effectively improves the appearance of the polymer or the fiber. Possesses very good whiteness in polyester fibers, also widely used in ABS, PS, PET, HIPS, PA, PC, PP, EVA and hard PVC. Complies with regulations for indirect food additives.
