Bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidinyl) sebacate. Acts as a hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) of N-H type that protects polymers from degradation due to ultraviolet radiation and long term heat aging. Can be used in combination with phenolic & phosphite antioxidants,
higher molecular weight HALS, and UVA’s to optimize performance in
outdoor use. Effectively used in PP, PE, ethylene-propylene copolymer and terpolymer, polyurethane, ABS, PS, HIPS, SAN and PVC. Used alone or in combination with higher molecular weight HALS for the UV stabilization of both thick and thin cross section articles including tapes, films, automotive parts, and lawn furniture.
