N-octadecanoate. Acts as an accelerator activator, dispersing agent, and softner. Used in rubber compounds. It is widely used in industrial preparations. Can also be used in the manufacture of stearates of aluminium, zinc and other metals, stearate driers, lubricants, shoe as well as food packaging. 1,2-benzenedicarboxylic acid dibutyl ester. Acts as a plasticizer. It is a component of PVC plastisol for carpet blackcoating. Possesses ester-like odor. It helps to make plastics soft and flexible. Used for polyvinyl acetate emulsions and specialized vinyl compounds. Can also be used in shower curtains, raincoats, food wraps, bowls, car interiors, vinyl fabrics, textile lubricating agent.
