FERROXIDE® Yellow 3049

FERROXIDE® Yellow 3049 by Oxerra (formerly Cathay Industries) is ferric oxide hydrate (FeOOH). It is a permanent, non-bleeding inert pigment with a clean shade, low oil absorption and good heat resistance. It is manufactured in the precipitated process and micronized for ease of dispersion in plastic systems. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"> <li>It can be used alone and in combination with organic pigments to improve opacity. </li> <li>It exhibits color-stability in processing temperatures below 180°C. </li> <li>It is recommended, owing to its sufficient purity, for use in articles that come in contact with food (21CFR). </li> <li>It offers reliability & consistent quality, stability under exposure to sunlight & UV radiation, and alkali, chemical & weather resistance. </li> <li>FERROXIDE® Yellow 3049 is used in plastics and rubber applications. </li></ul>

MAPICO™ Tan 20AG

MAPICO™ Tan 20AG by Oxerra (formerly Cathay Industries) is a high performance, micronized, dark tan ferrite pigment with acicular particle shape. It is produced by the high temperature reaction of iron oxide and magnesium oxide (Fe<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>-MgO). It offers ease of dispersion, color consistency and stable performance in plastics and other high-heat applications where high temperature resistance and weather durability is required. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"> <li>It is used in resin systems such as LLDPE & vinyl, engineering polymers and silicone rubber compounds. </li> <li>It is inert and resistant against chemicals, alkali & dilute acids.</li> <li>MAPICO™ Tan 20AG provides heat stability, ultraviolet screening, non-migration, bleed resistance and quality assurance. </li></ul>

FERROXIDE® Red 224M by Oxerra (formerly Cathay Industries) is a dark blue-shade precipitated red iron oxide pigment. It offers reliability & consistent quality, stability under exposure to sunlight & UV radiation, and alkali-, chemical- & weather resistance. Exhibits color-stability below 400°C and does not undergo any chemical change up to 1000°C. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is suitable for articles that come in contact with food (21CFR). </li> <li>FERROXIDE® Red 224M is micronized for good rheology at high solids and easy dispersion in a variety of systems. </li> <li>It meets ASTM C979-82 standards for color pigments used in cement.</li></ul>
