Accelerator™ CF13 by Nouryon is a cobalt-free accelerator for curing unsaturated polyester resins. It can be used in combination with Butanox M-50 in an ambient temperature curing system for hand lay-up and spray up application, polymer concrete manufacturing, other applications and market segments where cobalt is an undesired trace element.<br>

It is to be used in combination with Perkadox® PF-MT40Z for the production of acrylic solid surface. It is used to catalyze and modify the rate of polymerization of acrylic syrups. Recommended dosage is 0.5-2.0% based on resin weight and ambient conditions. Accelerator CTAS has a shelf life of 6 months. Accelerator NL-64-100 by Nouryon is a low-reactive amine accelerator used for curing unsaturated polyesters at ambient temperatures. The radical formation, which is necessary to start the polymerization reaction, is at ambient temperatures with most generally applied organic peroxides too slow. To speed up the radical formation in a controllable way, organic peroxides must therefore be used in combination with accelerator. Accelerator NL-64-100 is used in pultrusion, resin transfer molding, filament winding, hand lay-up and spray up applications. The shelf life of this product is 9 months. It is listed in TSCA. Accelerator NL-51P by Nouryon is a solution of 6% cobalt in solvent mixture used as an accelerator for curing UP resins at ambient temperatures. The radical formation, which is necessary to start the polymerization reaction, is at ambient temperatures with most generally applied organic peroxides too slow. For ketone peroxides like methyl ethyl ketone peroxides, cyclohexanone peroxides and acetylacetone peroxide a cobalt accelerator must be used. Cobalt 2-ethylhexanoate. Particularly suitable in those applications where a fast mold-turnover is required, e.g.for the cold press molding, polymer concrete or resin transfer molding. Much faster speed of cure is achieved with the curing system ketone peroxide plus accelerator NL-23 rather than with a curing system based on a ketone peroxide plus cobalt accelerator, at room and elevated temperatures. Also applicable for centrifugal casting, continuous casting, continuous laminating, fiberglass reinforced plastics, filament winding, hand lay-up & spray-up and vinyl ester resin curing. Accelerator NL-53 by Nouryon is a solution of 10% cobalt in solvent mixture used as an accelerator for curing UP resins at ambient temperatures. It is used in continuous laminating, resin transfer molding, filament winding, vinylesters, hand lay-up and spray up applications. For ketone peroxides like methyl ethyl ketone peroxides, cyclohexanone peroxides and acetylacetone peroxide a cobalt accelerator must be used. Recommended when using aluminum trihydrate (ATH) fillers. The shelf life of Accelerator 55028 is 6 months. Accelerator 553S by Nouryon is a solution of 1.9% metal complexes for curing unsaturated polyester resins in combination with organic peroxide at room and elevated temperatures. This cobalt(II) 2-ethylhexanoate in solvent mixture is recommended for pre-acceleration of vinylester resins to avoid foaming during cure when using standard MEKP. Accelerator 553S is used in continuous laminating, resin transfer molding, filament winding, hand lay-up and spray up. The shelf life of this product is 6 months. Accelerator NL-49P by Nouryon is a solution of 1% cobalt in solvent mixture used as an accelerator for curing UP resins at ambient temperatures.
