FluoroExtreme™ MS-2010 by Miller-Stephenson Chemical can be used to lubricate valves, seals, O-rings, gaskets, bearings, sliding surfaces, threads and fixtures. The recommended temperature range for FluoroExtreme™ MS-2010 is less than -50°C to +50°C. FluoroExtreme Thin Film Lube contains Krytox® GPL Grease (PFPE oil thickened with PTFE), which are packaged into convenient eight or fourteen-ounce aerosols. This packaging provides an easy solution for lubricating hard to reach places with pinpoint accuracy. The low surface tension of the solvent carries the grease into tight crevices. Also available with DuPont Krytox® Oils. MS-1010 can be safely used with reactive chemicals such as oxygen, hydrofluoric acid, chlorine, fluorine and bromine. Applications for FluoroExtreme™ oil include seals, valves, gaskets, chains and activators. This low viscosity oil can be used as a barrier fluid and it can be used to water-proof many materials including rubber, plastic, vinyl, and leather. MS-1010 oil has a Coefficient of friction that is capable of lubricating Teflon® coated materials that are subject to frictional forces, like for example, cables that slide inside a PTFE lined housing.
