Emerald Innovation™ 5000 by LANXESS is a sustainable flame retardant. It is an alternative to decabromodiphenyl ethane (DBDPE). It exhibits polymeric, melt blendable characteristics and addresses the fundamental migratory issue of small molecular bromine-based flame-retardant products. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li> It shows high permanence with low mobility when compounded into plastic resins, preventing blooming with the long-life cycle of end use cases. </li> <li> Emerald Innovation™ 5000 enables a broad processing window and tailored physicochemical properties in a variety of engineering plastic resins. </li> <li> It meets stringent fire safety requirements. </li></ul> Emerald Innovation™ 3000 by Lanxess is a highly effective, sustainable brominated polymeric flame retardant. It is an alternative to hexabromocyclododecane (HBCD) in EPS and XPS foam products. Emerald Innovation™ 3000 offers a variety of enhanced performance properties in EPS (expanded polystyrene) and XPS (extruded polystyrene) foams. Its reduced tendency to retain water helps to decrease the residual water content of EPS beads which leads to improved process efficiency. The shelf life of this product is 6-12 months. Emerald Innovation™ 1000 by Lanxess is a high performing greener, brominated, flame retardant. It possesses excellent balance of impact, melt flow and thermal properties. It is designed to replace decabromodiphenyl ether, decabromodiphenyl ethane or other flame retardants currently used in polystyrene, polyolefins and thermoplastic/thermoset polyester resin systems. It cost effectively provides UL 94 V-0 performance in a variety of resins including HIPS, polyolefins, and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS). Emerald Innovation™ 1000 exhibits excellent recyclability and retention of properties through multiple reprocessing cycles. Emerald Innovation™ NH 500 by LANXESS is a phosphorus-based, non-halogen flame retardant. It provides high thermal stability, unique morphology and excellent mechanical properties of end products. It can easily meet the relevant fire safety tests. It shows very good flame retardant properties and high dimensional stability in engineering thermoplastics, such as polyamide 6 and 66 (PA6, PA66). Emerald Innovation™ NH 500 is used in the manufacture of glass-fiber reinforced plastics for products in the electrical and electronic (E&E) industry. Emerald Innovation™ NH-1 by Lanxess is a low viscosity, halogen free, phosphorus flame retardant. It shows superior hydrolytic stability in ester and ether foam and low emissions in stimulated gravimetric fogging. This product displays superior compression set and outstanding resistance to foam discoloration during production. Emerald Innovation™ NH-1 is used in flexible polyurethane foams. The shelf life of this product is 6-12 months.
