KVIS-20 by Kothari Petrochemicals is an external & internal lubricant and an excellent dispersant. It is a non-toxic, chemically inert, viscoelastic polyisobutylene (PIB) grade with the ability to increase tackiness.<br>

KVIS-150 by Kothari Petrochemicals acts as a tackifier in stretch film/ cling film applications. It is a clear, viscous, non-toxic and chemically inert polyisobutylene (PIB) grade.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It also works as a viscosity index improver in high molecular weight polyisobutylene succinic anhydride (PIBSA), a dispersant used in the manufacturing of performance package additives for automotive segment.</li>

KVIS-10 by Kothari Petrochemicals acts as a wetting agent and processing aid in filled and reinforced polypropylene. It is a clear, viscous, non-toxic and chemically inert polyisobutylene (PIB) grade. It plasticizes polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS), ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer resins, ester gums, and polyterpenes.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It offers higher melt flow rate, greater elongation & improved impact strength in polypropylene random & impact copolymers, and improved flexibility, tear resistance, gloss & clarity in polypropylene homopolymer film applications.</li>
<li>It improves the environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR) of high impact polystyrene (HIPS) to fats & oils, and also improves the melt flow in crystal polystyrene, better than mineral oil while maintaining higher strength & heat deflection temperature.</li>
<li>It also increases the izod impact strength of acrylonitrile-butadiene-sytrene (ABS) resins and ethylene-propylene diene monomer (EPDM).</li>
<li>It is used as an extender for a wide variety of vulcanized elastomers like natural rubber, butyl rubber, polyisoprene, polybutadiene (PB), ethylene-alpha olefin- and styrene butadiene rubber (SBR).</li>
<li>It is resistant to exudation by heat aging, thus imparts its properties permanently to the rubber.</li>
<li>KVIS-10 is used to plasticize the roofing and pipe wrap compounds made from butyl rubber or EPDM modified butyl rubber.</li>
<li>Provides excellent tensile strength, low temperature flexibility and color/UV-stability to rubbers.</li>
<li>It shows compatibility with the elastomeric portion of thermoplastic block copolymers such as butylene-ethylene-styrene block copolymer.</li>
<li>In low concentrations, it softens the elastomers, and at higher levels, it offers tack & adhesion.</li>
