Phthalic acid esters of iso butyl alcohol. Colorless, odorless, slight aromatic, ester odor oily liquid, free of foreign materials. Acts as a primary plasticizer for PVC and PVC copolymers, very good low cost plasticizer for cellulose nitrate. Possesses low gravity and low freezing point. Used in the processing and applications of nitrile rubbers, in the manufacturing of footwear and hose pipes.
