Polyfil® 80 by KaMin is an anhydrous aluminum silicate. It is a calcined clay, offering excellent processing and limited reinforcement. It imparts outstanding wet/dry electrical properties due to the elimination of bound water during the calcined process. Compounds with calcined clays extrude smoothly and reduce stickiness in processing. Polyfil® 80 is available in milled fine white powder having moderate particle size and is used to extend elastomeric as well as thermoplastics products, including wire and cable applications. Treated, anhydrous aluminum silicate. Treated kaolin clay is an organo-functional pigment designed to maximize compatibility with surrounding polymers and to minimize absorption of interfacial moisture. It imparts low conductivity due to the elimination of bound water during the calcined process. Mechanical and electrical properties of polymers such as EPR and cross-linked polyolefins are preserved even after long-term exposure to a high-humidity environment. Compounds with calcined clays extrude smoothly as well as reduce stickiness in processing. Hydrous aluminum silicate. It is a moderate brightness water washed kaolin clay that functions as a functional filler and extender. It offers acid resistance, reinforcement, neutral pH, and extremely low crystalline silica, improved consistency compared to air-floated clays and salt content. It is cost effective and is available in form of white, milled fine powder. Hydrous aluminum silicate.
