Nucap® 100G by KaMin is a water-washed kaolin clays surface-modified with a coupling agent. Used as low cost non-black reinforcing, stiffening or extending fillers in natural and synthetic rubbers. Enhances many physical and processing properties. Provides more consistency and allows for smoother extrudates, less sticking to hot metal surfaces. Exhibits higher tensile and tear resistance. Nucap® 100G can also be useful in high voltage electrical applications for wire and cable, rubber articles, tires, specialty polymer systems and thermoplastic applications. Nucap® 190W by KaMin is sulfur-functional hydrated aluminum silicate. It is a high brightness treated kaolin clay that functions as a reinforcing filler / extender for elastomeric systems. The treatment aids dispersion in soft, low shear compounds such as stoppers and tubing. Silane treated clays mix in quicker manner and allows the formulator to reduce the amount of added silane. Nucap® 190W appears as a spray dried beads or odorless white powder and is used in white roofing membranes and white sidewalls. Sulfur-functional hydrated aluminum silicate.
