Solvent-soluble fluorescent toner which is applied on corrugated containers, films, thermoplastics etc. It appears as a dry granular powder. It shows an excellent solubility in propyl acetate, isopropyl acetate, ethyl acetate, 2-nitropropane, diethylene glycol, dipropylene glycol as well as monochlorobenzene, orthodichlorobenzene, ethylene glycol monoethyl ether, ethanol, isopropanol. Shows compatibility with polyethylene dispersion additives and even compatible modifiers are added in order to improve the limited compatibility with polyamide resins. JCOLOR® VQ-G : Red by JColor Chemicals acts as a thermoset micro-spherical fluorescent pigment of red color. It is a solid solution of fluorescent dyes in a thermoset amino resin. It shows the best resistance to plate-out and plasticizers as well as an excellent light scattering, opacity, dispersibility, tinting strength with broad compatibility. It has an appearance like solid micron-sized spherical particles with narrow distribution and is not soluble in most solvent as well as plasticizer hence, solvent resistant. It is recommended for extruded & molded polyolefin plastics, PVC coating & molding. JCOLOR® DS-Green by JColor Chemicals acts as a thermoplastic fluorescent pigment. It is a solid solution of fluorescent dyes in an amino resin. It has an appearance like solid irregular shaped particles of green color. Recommended for such applications where resistance to strong solvents is not needed. It performs well in a system based on aliphatic and some aromatic hydrocarbons and used in water systems where prolonged shelf life is not required. Also recommended for plastics, vinyl coated fabric and vinyl plastisols. JCOLOR® JC200-Chartreuse by JColor Chemicals is a solid solution of fluorescent dyes in a polyamide resin. It acts as a formaldehyde-free and thermoplastic fluorescent pigment. It shows good resistance to plateout, melt-in, heat stability up to 300°C, good tinting strength, broad compatibility, color fastness and is fade resistant with minimal color shifts over a wide processing temperature range. It has an appearance like solid irregular shaped particles of chartreuse color. It is recommended for plastics and used for preparing extruded color compounds and liquid color dispersions for use in injection, rotational as well as blow molding, extruded film & sheet, blown & calendared film, vacuum forming, casting, etc. JCOLOR® JC200-Chartreuse is applied in HDPE, LDPE, PP, and PS systems with minimum adjustment to the processing conditions. Fluorescent pigment of an orange-red color. Acts as a neutral additive which neither adds nor detract from the lubrication of the plastic for processing. It shows good low-temperature (150°C to 180°C) dispersion with an excellent resistance to heat, brilliant clean fluorescence, superior tinting strength, melt in type with low softening point, easy mixing over the range of 135°C to 230°C, low plate-out, no formaldehyde emission hence, environmental-friendly.
