Dytek® A (2-Methylpentamethylenediamine)

Dytek® A (2-Methylpentamethylenediamine) by Invista acts as a chain extender in polyurethane applications. Its derivatives such as secondary amines, aspartic esters, ketoimines and aldimines can be used as curatives in polyurea systems. In polyamides, it acts as a crystallinity disruptor, making polymers more amorphous and slower to crystallize. It offers lower melting point, increased abrasion resistance, improved surface appearance and dye uptake. Dytek® A (2-Methylpentamethylenediamine) reduces gelling, water absorption, melt and quench temperatures.

FlexiSolv® DBE® LVP esters

FlexiSolv® DBE® LVP esters by Invista Specialty Chemicals is a refined dimethyl ester of adipic, glutaric, and succinic acids. It is a clear, colorless liquid with mild, fruity odor. It is readily soluble in alcohols, ketones, ethers & many hydrocarbons and slightly soluble in water and paraffinic hydrocarbons. It contains more than 55% recycled content. It is recommended for resin cleanup and solvent welding of polymers. The shelf life of FlexiSolv® DBE® LVP esters is 2 years.

TERATHANE® PTMEG 1400

Polytetramethylene ether glycol. Used as a building block in variety of elastomers such as polyurethanes, copolyesters and polyamides. It is a liquid to white, waxy solid that melts to a clear, colorless liquid over a wide temperature range near room temperature. Recommended for industrial belts, medical devices, wheels and tires, tanks and pipe linings, water valves, mining parts, automotive as well as aviation hoses and gaskets. Compliant with FDA approval for indirect food contact.
