Ester based lubricant for processing bioplastics. It is nontoxic and biodegradable. It is considered an external lubricant that offers solutions to processing problems caused by internal friction and tackiness of polymers, mold contamination as well as excessive equipment wear. Can also help disperse fillers more readily. Also acts as process aid. Increases the melt flow without impacting polymer physical properties.
